Free Church Plant Training

Antioch Network Manchester* runs a free church plant training course every year which we call "REAP". REAP is for current and future church plant leaders and launch team members.
The final session of the current REAP course was held last night, as we wrapped up REAP 2023/24 with a curry and lots of prayer.
Antioch plans to start the next cohort in September 2024.

REAP Course Participants don't have to be involved with Antioch to take part, and in the past we have welcomed people from different denominations and backgrounds.

Lastly, at Antioch we recognise that there are many different ways of reaching new people and starting new churches. However the REAP course content focuses a lot on:
(1) Developing lay leadership
(2) Planting fairly small churches
(3) Ministering in poorer areas
(4) Ministering in areas of ethnic diversity

The Bishop of Manchester is launching the first diocese-wide Bishop’s Mission Order on 29 November, 7.30pm at St Bride’s Church in Old Trafford. The Order will establish the Antioch Network in Manchester, which will create a network of new, small worshipping communities, with the aim of bringing more young people to faith, particularly in deprived and ethnically diverse areas.
