Antioch is recruiting a Part Time Christian Evangelist to work with us up to 3 days per week, largely on the Breightmet Estate in Bolton.

The successful candidate will work with the New Life leadership in designing activities, events and outreach strategies. They will work with New Life church to connect with new people in the community of Breightmet, and to present the Gospel in relevant ways.  

You will lead new and existing evangelistic activities, will spend time one-to-one with seekers, engage in a more focused and evangelistic way with young people locally, raise up and train new evangelists, and advance the evangelistic culture in our church.

You will spend at least 70% of your time face-to-face with local, unchurched people.

Terms and Conditions

1.  Candidates must have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.

2.  It is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder be a practicing Christian.

3.  This post requires satisfactory references and an appropriate DBS check.

4.  The successful candidate must be able/willing to be part of New Life Church Breightmet.

Length of Contract and Salary

£15,505 per annum (this is pro rata of £25,843 FTE based on 22.5 hours per week).

The contract is for 2 years, with a possible additional 3rd year, subject to available resource.
