"Good News Church" Launches this November
Last month we introduced you to Emmanuel Community, which is in Radcliffe. This month (4pm on Sunday 22nd November 2020), we are launching a brand new congregation in Rochdale called "Good News Community Church".
Good News is part of the Anglican "Renewing Rochdale" initiative across the town, and falls within the Diverse side of Antioch's Network. Because of "Lockdown#2", Good News is starting online, and we hope to gather people in person early in 2021.
Our Good News planter is Dylan Edwards, he is already gathering a launch team and engaging with Farsi-speakers and others across the town, and he shares more about the vision for Good News Church:
Our vision for Rochdale is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to inspire people to be in a relationship with God. We hope to see people gathering about Jesus and his word, from all of Rochdale’s diverse people, making disciples of Jesus."
