Antioch has developed an 11-stage* Church Planting Loop which we use as a kind of map to help new church planters work through key markers in the process of starting a new church.
The sequence isn't always neat and tidy, and there are always bumps along the way, but we want to offer something to help planting teams and leaders to visualise where they are and where they need to go.
We are pleased to introduce the Church Planting Loop, which covers 11 stages and splits into 3 broad phases - as per the red, yellow and green colours below:
To find some excellent content on each stage of this Loop, just click on the image above, and it will take you to an animated version of the Loop, where you can select an area or two which interests you most. For example, if you're helping to lead a planting team, and if you're already half-way round the Loop, you might want to click on "shape the team" and check out some great content on that theme.

PS, even though there are 11 stages in this loop, our Directors often call it the "12-Stage Loop" because Stage 12 is repeating the process, moving back to Stage 1 and starting another church.
At Antioch once we get to, say, 30 people in a church plant, we usually start praying about planting another church. The idea is to be constantly encouraging people to make disciples who make disciples, and starting new churches which grow up to start other new churches is one way in which we can encourage that process.
