New Life Church Breightmet meeting in a Bolton Pub is making the News
As well as some national publications showing interest, a local newspaper recently ran a story on the launch of New Life Church Breightmet.
Focusing on an unusual choice of venue - a local pub - the Bolton News interviewed the Mossley Arms' Landlady, Bernie Bates, who summed things up nicely,
“I thought it was a wonderful idea. I`m CofE and really enjoy my faith but some people may be reluctant to go into a traditional church. Or they may not have access to one. Our function room is already used as a lovely community room, and we`re such a friendly pub. It just seemed like an obvious thing to do.”
