Shape the Team

Becoming by doing

Teams very quickly develop patterns and habits.  These are things that you choose to do as a priority.    These things speak to the team much more powerfully than what you say.  Your team members will believe what you do more than what you say.     So these patterns of organisation, of choices about what you do with your time together are effectively a second call to the team.

Our directors often say that in church planting, when things get busy, often the first 2 things to go are prayer and evangelism, and having a pattern or rhythm of accessible prayer in each church is an essential part of a church plant's ministry, as well as something which should inform and empower the evangelism we explore more in Stages 5 and 9 of the CP Loop.
